Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource (SFR) : Certification awarded to real estate professionals who have demonstrated knowledge in directing distressed sellers to finance, tax, and legal professionals, qualify sellers for short sales, develop a short-sale package, negotiate with lenders, tap into buyer demand, limit risk, protect buyers and more.
Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE) : An intensive certification earned by top professionals who want to be the most skilled advocates for their clients and their goals. Completion of this course has demonstrated that I have sharpened my skills and adopted new strategies and tactics into my toolbox that helps me be better prepared and adaptable to whatever a transaction may bring our way.
Resort and Second Home Property Specialist (RSPS) : The Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist certification is for REALTORS® who specialize in buying, selling, or management of properties for investment, development, retirement, or second homes in resort, recreational, and/or vacation destinations. Of particular interest to me are multifamily properties -- call me to discuss your options.
What it Means to be a REALTOR®
A REALTOR is a member of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORS and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics.
Code of Ethics
The Code establishes time-honored and baseline principles that come from the collective experiences of REALTORS® since the Code of Ethics was first established in 1913. Those principles can be loosely defined as:
Loyalty to clients;
Fiduciary (legal) duty to clients;
Cooperation with competitors;
Truthfulness in statements and advertising; and non-interference in exclusive relationships that other REALTORS® have with their clients.
